sbs has shown some highlights

competition starts 9.0.08 to 24.8.08

match times start at 10.30am C.S.T.
last match starts at 10.15pm C.S.T.

when shown on t.v is any one's guess

michael here's the Games schedule for handball where you can also see the results etc...times are Beijing local which I think is 1 1/2 hrs behind Adelaide. Doesn't give any tv broadcast details but might help you keep track of whats happening...

It's a pretty spectacular game; for a sport that is almost never heard of in Australia. Denmark is playing Russia at the moment on SBS, and before, an exciting game in which South Korea defeated Iceland by 1 goal.

i've seen the game before & i quite like it....the denmak coach is a lookalike of our famous mr. wedgie

I've always wanted to see a game but I don't think it's ever been shown here

I was typing in "and this match ends in a draw", because looking at that, I thought he had no chance. Amazing.

I'm really enjoying watching the handball. I remember playing it in school, but we never threw ourselves into the shots like these guys!

Does anyone know where we can get a replay of that goal? eg Youtube

I'd rather watch Handball than meaningless heats of swimming.

It's a great game to watch and last olympics I started understanding some of the rules (previously I couldn't work any of them out). You can't see this sport besides olympics and even then there isn't enough of it on.

The 7 sight actually had it MIRACLE GOAL

Click on the Russian v Danish game link ! Unbelievable. To make it even worse for the Russians, the Danes subbed the Keeper
for a field player, the field player was stuck in the attacking half, and the Russians basically had a free throw which missed !
No keeper in goal, just had to get it straight, and then bingo, the Danes get the free throw, and boy what a throw it was !

The commentary is great...he'd got basically no chance of getting this
