Post your must see moments here, day by day. The Olympic equivalent of "live score update". Obviously Aussie medal moments will be popular but how about the unscripted moments, the heroics, the triumphs and the tragedies? Here's the place folks...

Just checked YouTube to try and find clip for you and looks like it's there but it's already been blocked...
This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by a third party.
Hopefully your tv will be showing plenty of reruns

For Aussies in the UK (the race was about 4am or something here) that link won't work but you can watch it replayed on the BBC...

The 49er finals in the sailing. Saw a rerun last night.
I know after capsizing just metres from the finish you guys might find this a bit contentious but it's the generosity and good sportsmanship shown by Croatia that I'm applauding.
Horrible weather and conditons. Denmark going in leading the table...mast snaps before the start. Croatia (already out of the running) lend the Danes their boat so they can still compete. Danes went on to take the gold.
Well done Croatia

Great story that one. I see the Danes still had to get past the clowns in the Race Committee protesting for the using the Coatians' boat.
Horendous conditions -very unfortunate for the Aussie guys.

I cant decide if my favourite Aussie medal was either our silver is the womens K-1 (Jacqui Lawrence) or the women's 100m hurdles (Sally Mclennan). I missed the women's triathlon (gold to Emma Snowshill).

I assume I can include a heartbreaking moment...
Watching young Craig Pickering live on tv taking responsability for setting off to soon in the 4x100m Relay.
Probably won't work outside the UK...
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/olympic ... 574876.stm Pickering was clearly upset after the incident, and accepted his share of the responsibility straight away.
"I'm so disappointed in myself - I'm sorry," said Pickering.
"I feel like I've let the team down and the country down. Unfortunately for the next four years I am going to be remembered as the guy who messed up.
"It's not been a great Olympics for me, and it's a shame because I think we've got a really good team - especially with the US going out."
But the experienced Devonish offered his support to the 21-year-old.
"Craig should not take full responsibility for that," he said.
"It's a team event. We trained really hard for this and anything can happen."
The other two members of the GB men's relay team were Tyrone Edgar and Simeon Williamson.

How about that German weightlifter. Lost his wife a year ago, won the gold on the last lift.

I know now - Matthew Mitcham's final dive - the best in Olympic History - to take gold in the men's 10m platform.

There should be doubt over that dive. I've watched it several times now, and there's no evidence he completed the dive. No splash whatsoever!!!!
