SA Footy

Does anyone have a list of the South Australians who are representing Australia in the Olympics? I'm getting my class to write to the athletes, and would like to stick to the South Aussies rather than just writing to anyone.

Four that I can think of:

Hayden Stoeckel
Sophie Edington
Grant Schubert
Stuart O'Grady

Cheers mate, the only ones I could think of were Erin Phillips and Nat von Bertouch. Hopefully theres at least 25 South Aussies we can come up with so each student can write to someone different.

They dont actually have to be South Australian, can be from elsewhere and based here, for example if there was a Victorian playing for the Lightning or T'Birds and they got picked for Australia, they would count too.

PAFC - drop the netty mate, they don't go to the Games.

Will Henzel- Table tennis. I remember seeing a list in the Advertiser a few weeks back, it'll probably be online there somewhere.

Netball isn't played at the Olympics so Nat Van B. isn't going

About a week ago 5aa definitely said that a South Aussie had got through as part of the equestrian team...sorry don't remember the name though.

There's a link to the full Team Aussie list on the thread of the same name so you'll hopefully be able to work out which one it is.

I am sorry we are unable to assist you this time.

Utter crap. This information is freely available, even to the point where a list was published in newspapers.

I suppose the paper had to research the athletes' home state to makes their own list PAFC. It seems ridiculus that they can't give you a simple list.

Yeah. It means I have to go through the list of 480 athletes and see who is from SA.
