ah...I think you might mean Jonathon Edwards...triple jumper who refused to take part on Sundays because of religion. Sorry but he's English...unless there's been another one...wouldn't surprise me.

As a pom living in Scotland I don't usually take much notice of which part of GB the competitors are from...leave that to the nationalists

Off-hand the only Scots going that I know of so far would be Chris Hoy (cycling) and Lee McConnell (women's 400m).
