Sorry but the Mens Pole Vault has turned into a farce.
Only top 12 are meant to go through to final yet the Vaulters have all got together and decided they want 17 to get through. So at the moment we have a standoff with no one jumping. Steve Hooker seems to be the ring leader

Hope the officials stand firm and make them jump and qualify into a final 12.

A Cuban vaulter's pole snapped spectacularly before the standoff.
Luckily wasn't injured, but was probably struggling for confidence afterwards!
