One of the commentators said he rode a shocker and didn't handle the pressure in the last time trial of the Tour. Was his time trial time really that bad because he was expected to be much quicker than the people around him on the leaderboard and he wasn't. Could the commentator have been right?

He was 6th or 7th in the time trial so I don’t think he choked at all and don’t be surprised if an Aussie wins the Road race thanks to the work of the team.
Australia also have a wild card entry in to the time trial so if Cadel pulls up ok after the road race he will go in the time trial.
