Cripes Booney, do you even own a bloody TV? You must spend too much time strumming the bass my good man because Futurama is GOLD. I'd even go as far to say that Futurma season 1-5 5hits on the last 5 seasons of The Simpson from a great height. Bender is a dead set legend for a start. A robot who drinks, smokes, swears is an absolute a-hole and is a kleptomaniac to boot. What's not to like? Also a big fan of the totally hopeless Zoidberg, who is a Dr Nick in a crab shell.

Telling you about something you obviously don't watch provides little insight however, let's discusss some of the obvious sins of what you call the greatest show in history.

1. Bart as Homer's sidekick. Does this work for you? This is really starting to grate.
2. The Strangle. Collingwood and Geelong combined haven't experienced as much strangling as Bart. That 'gag' is getting just a little bit stale.
3. Everyone is starting to go gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that but why waste Smithers jokes on Lenny and Carl?
4. Annoying charcters starting to pop up everywhere. Cookie Kwan, Gill, The 'yes' guy, The Texan..what next, Jar Jar Binks?
5. Principal Skinner. A 44 year old virgin who lives at home with Mom. Only so many decent gags can come out of this.
6. Moe turning from a jaded barman to a suicidal sook. Boring.

You can't tell me that Futurama is just a dumping ground for Groening's 'unSimpsonsworthy' ideas. Because in Futurama the characters just haven't been thrashed out as much as they have been in The Simpsons. Look at all the best episodes of the Simpsons, it's in the early years. As soon as Skully came in it went downhill rapidly. Still a good show but I just don't think you've seen all that much of Futurama mon ami.

Futurama is the bomb. Simpsons at its best is better...but Futurama is much more consistent. Just about every Futurama episode I have found funny. I havent laughed at a new Simpsons episode in about 5 years.

Zoidberg is the best cartoon character ever created.

Yes my good man,I do own a television,however,as I am yet to make the investment known as Foxtel, so I live and get by on the megre offerings of peasant TV.

Futurama has only recently made its way onto CH10 on a regular basis,but,training via the West Thebby on a Thursday means I do indeed miss most of the episodes.

I should have qualified my first statement by saying I have seen little of this,but from what I have seen,I dont see that there is much there for me.[/i]

Yeah, I thought there was four as well but I read somewhere that there was in fact a 5th season of the show. Maybe wishful thinking on my part.

Futurama didn't impress me much at first either Booney but it was like a Tumour, it grew on me btw, Futurama is on Wednesday nights isn't it?

In the USA, Futurama was realeased on DVD as 5 seasons. In Australia it was released as 4. I thought I had missed a season, but don't worry, you have seen them all.
