Ok, my attempt at a quiz.... about Adelaide (and SA?)
And no googling!!
1. How was the name Glynburn road derived?
2. Name the only two suburbs of Adelaide with four letters in their names
3. To what name was the Hahndorf changed during World War I?
4. How many sets of traffic lights are there on West Terrace?
5. Name the six squares of the city and North Adelaide
6. The Tea Tree Gully council area was originally called what?
7. Does Colonel William Light point with his left hand, or right hand?
8. A famous icon in SA, "Villis" - what country did Villi himself migrate from?
9. Name two metropolitan suburbs that start with V
10. All main East/West streets in the city centre begin at King William Street. Why is this?
11. What is the South Australian state gemstone?
12. There are at least 7 "arcades" close to Rundle Mall, between Grenfell St and North Terrace. Name 5 of them.
13. Frewville, Heathpool, Tonsley Park, Direk & Greenfields. Which one is not a suburb of Adelaide?

2. Skye is one of them?
13. Tonsley Park is not a suburb but the Mitsubishi Factory in Clovelly Park?

10 - the roads all start at King William Street but they dont cross over because apparently you cant cross the king!!
some guy told me that useless piece of info when i was at tafe 8 years ago

1. its the road that runs between the suburbs of glynde and burnside
2. Hove and Skye
4. 5 sets
5. Wellington, Light, Victoria, Hurtle, Whitmore, Hindmarsh
7. Right hand
9. Virginia, Valley View, Vista and Vale Park (there are 4...)
10. Something to do with it being disrespectful to the King or some crap like that
11. opal?
12. City Cross, Adelaide Arcade, Gays Arcade, John Martins Arcade (dont know what its called know!) and Southern Cross

John Martin's Arcade is actually John Martins Plaza - so wrong
seven right
(There's also Verdun by the way - if you want to count that and Virginia as "metro")
