Ok now that our resident Quizmaster have given the green light I have prepared a little set of questions for you knowledgeable folk to answer.


No.1 rule: NO external references (ie Cricinfo, google etc)
No.2 rule: will accept the nearest whole year (ie 25 years and 64 days is 25 years old)


(1) How many First Class wickets did Sir Donald Bradman take in his career?

(2) Shaun Young and Simon Cook made their debut for Australia one after the other at numbers 372 and 373 respectively. How many Test matches have they played between them? Three

(8) True or False? Australia has had a Test player born in what is now the current capital city of Bangladesh True. Bonus point to name him

(9) Mohammad Ashraful of Bangladesh is the youngest to ever score a Test century in 2001. How old was he and who was it against?17 v Sri Lanka

(10) In the summer of 1952/53 Australia named its youngest player to ever earn a test cap. What was his name and how old was he? Ian Craig- 17

8. True. If I'm wrong, then fales!
9. I reckon he was 16 (stufffed if you want days) and probably against Zimbabwe
10. Not a clue.

I knew he was at least 17 and a half - 17 years 239 days to be exact.

2. Shaun Young - That was his only test match. He was called up on the 1997 Ashes tour when Dizzy was injuredfor the last test (they lost I think, and Young did close to nothing)
Simon Cook - Played total of 2 test matches, but would only want to remember the first, in which he took all seven of his test wickets, including 5 for not many. Struggled to make the NSW side after that, or did he get injured and then not be able to make the side?
