I usually look at games lost to give the inverse table but maybe a better solution would be to have % games won - ie games won/games played where a draw is a 0.5 win.

If I am understanding the above correctly this means that the team that finished second has won 9 times in the GF, but combining that with your table of clubs in second and % less than 50% - none of them on that list went on and won the flag (since the final 5 has been in). Sturt will have to make history to win this year (and this week).
