Hopes has been batting well, but as an allrounder im concered that he dosent really have the ability to take wickets at international level.

Can anyone actually see any team that will be able to beat any Australian side that will take the field in the West Indies? I can't. The only serious challengers would have to be India, but their pace attack is suspect, and are currently rated 6 in the world. England's one-day form is shite, and the others Sri Lanka, South Africa, New Zealand and Pakistan, who knows what they will do, but if Australia is anywhere near their best they should easily account for all the other teams.

That's what we said in 1992.

You are both 100% correct, but I guess we can hope that the same won't hold true for the 2007 WC
