For those of you with ABC 2 tonight on Late Night Legends you can watch Australia reclaim the ASHES. They are showing edited highlights of the 1982-83 5th test from Sydney.

Highlights of this match incude:

Kim Hughes scoring 137 in the first dig batting as only Kim Hughes could.
Allan Borders two 80s
Eddie Hemmings scoring 95 as a nightwatchman and copping a stinker - one of the best sulks you'll ever see walking off - to this day he blames Rod Marsh
Rod Marsh breaking the then record for most catches in an ASHES series.

Last weekend I discovered this pearls late on friday night Sat morning the 2nd and 3rd test of that series. Australia won those series.

Wow - I didn't realise that ABC-2 had stuff like this on it. Might be time to invest in a set-top box I reckon.

Even though this happened 3 years before I was born, I think it would be great to watch - the only time you get highlights like this is when crappy rain is ruining play and Channel 9 show them instead - but that's not when I want to be watching highlights of 82-83!
