ENGLAND V WEST INDIES PREVIEW

Postby mal » Wed May 16, 2007 11:18 am

Who cares who wins
As long as KP scores the most runs for the series
Most wickets dunno, HARMISON if fires ???
And lets hope new captain STRAUSS dosent get ripped of by the umpires this series
Talk about worst decisions, this guy had the worst decisions in a series

Flintoff wont captain this series
We had to expect that after his drunken performance in the WI world Cup
Will FLINTOFF dominate with the the ball, that suspect ankle will be the key.

WI top scorer should be skipper SARWAN
Most wickets COLLEYMORE is a good roughie, conditions might suit

SERIES RESULT
EG 3
WI 0
DR 2

Assuming its 5 tests
I think EG will dominate

Starts thursday night, and lets all hope KP dominates this series

Perfect chance for KP to inflate his average against a weak bowling attack

Really he should and probably will score a mountain of runs but so should most of the England batsmen. Look for Strauss to turn things around and have a big series.

I see Vaughan is expected to return for the 2nd Test - will he be fit?

Also, does anyone know about the progress of Simon Jones? Last I heard, he was hoping to be ready to play about now?

If the POMs don't win this 3-0 with at least one innings victory they should be shot....No Lara, Windies 4/44 recovering to 4/236 of 42 overs against Somerset (previous game Somerset got spanked for 800 runs) with only Sarwon and a debutant making runs to, discord in the camp regarding a curfew.....

This should be a slaughter.....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Why do you say nervous posts? I think we all know KP is likely to score runs and a lot of them. He is a very good player.

You mentioned weak attack.

This is gunna be boring
at least with WATTO I was speculating on ability
with KP we know hes gunna kill the windies attack [but they have a couple of good quicks]

I want STRAUSS to perform after his UNLUCKY tour of OZ

I WILL NO DOUBT FIND A PERCIEvCED buNNY in this series along the way so stay tuned

Why would anyone be nervous? Anything that is predictable shouldn't induce an attack of nerves. I think you'll find that most of us actually do rate KP, but not to the gushing extent of your good self and a few others as he hasn't been around long enough to deserve the rich offerings of praise afforded to him...far too many brain fades for mine. Of course, if he continues his current productivity for a decade, then REB will be dining out on humble pie (with sauce) yet again.
