Symonds playing and Hodge is out that is the Aussies team news

One of the unluckiest cricketers i can think of. Hodge has done everything asked of him and more yet gets dropped. Symonds had to come back in but a different player should have been dropped before Hodge.

Or in this case not playing for Australia

Obviously i would have got rid of Watson for Symonds but i would also prefer to see Clarke out before they consider dropping Hodge.

I thought C9 were only showing games from the Super 8 stage onwards.

I get the feeling that even 350 isn't safe enough - another one of those pitches where 'if we can do it, so can they'

Not usual to see Pollock go for so many runs (51 off his first 7)
All indications that there will be 750 runs seen today
