EG 0/18 OFF 8 OVERS

One of these teams will win for the first time on tour.
Probably EG although they are scoring slowly.
Pity to watch Micheal VAUGHAN hobbling around.

EG 2/62 18 OVERS

STRAUSS out CAUGHT HIS OWN PAD BOWLED FRANKLIN :x :x :x :x

STRAUSS out again to another absolutely disgraceful blunder thick inside
edge on to pad and out LBW.
STRAUSS walked off laughing.
4th time he has been ripped off on tour.
____________________________________________________
12 innings on tour out 4 times to umpires = 33% of his innings.
____________________________________________________
Umpires continue to ruin cricket games...and possibly ruin careers.

Earlier today VETTORI LBW to a ball missing leg slip :!:

Didn't see either of the dismissals, but I am sure they are as bad as you say Mal. Strauss has had a very unlucky tour.

England now going along OK, should win if they don't lose too many wickets. I also take back the call I made earlier about NZ smashing England too!

a career in umpiring beckons you mal, thick inside edge is walking material in D grade (sometimes A grade  ) if plumb in front

Maybe Strauss wouldn't get so many "iffy" decisions if he started hitting the ball with the middle of the bat instead of edges and pads.

Only England could have made the last few overs look so difficult. Seriously just a run a ball for 5 overs with 5 wickets in hand yet NZ were still a chance in the last over.

NZ 9/205
VETTORI 11 NOT OUT
BOND 22 NOT OUT
PATEL 0 NOT OUT

EG 7/206
STRAUSS 28 NOT OUT
LEWIS 2 NOT OUT
FLINTOFF 72 NOT OUT

FLEMINGS captaincy was as good as you could ever see defending a pitiful 205.
England scrambled over the line with a ball to spare.
FLINTOFF since not being captain is excelling again, the worlds best o/d allrounder
carried his side to victory, batting 6 is his spot[not 6 in tests however]
MCMILLAN would nearly be the fattest international cricketer.

WE ALL MUST GIVE CREDIT TO adelaide hawk WHO SAID THAT ENGLAND CANT WIN
WITH PIETERSON IN THE SIDE SO THEY MIGHT WITHOUT HIM
AH great prediction.

Dare I say it, dont play Brett LEE because the side is winning without him

That's a big call. If Cosgrove played International cricket he'd have him covered by quite some margin but Inzie would give him a run as well. I'm sure there are others. Have to say he bowled alright towards the end.

Glad to hear it Mal. By that reasoning you are advocating his retention in the Test team .... because the side is winning WITH him.

was it a case of neither team wanting to win ....

also is australia that far infront of any one else.... with the world cup in west indies

small ovals, fast/ bouncy pitches bring it on west indies v australia final brian lara and mcgrath farewell game
