Aussies are still strong favourites. We will be much better then last time here with Stokes and Archer being key ins. Root obviously needs to finally have a big series here but our lack of a quality spinner will hurt as I can see leach or bess getting a hammering in these conditions. Aussies 3-1 in my opinion.

Home ground advantage is huge..... didn't worry India though. Lets hope someone in a position of authority makes some hard calls on the current test set up - coach, captain etc.

I am not holding my breath though.

There will be no opportunity to fail for anyone between now and then, we will struggle against them if Archer plays the whole series.

If the test was picked tomorrow what team would we be going with.... I think below is probably fairly close. What other changes could we see, I don't see to many other than potentially a different opening combination and maybe Head not given another chance just yet.

Warner
Puckovski
Labuschagne
Smith
Green
Head
Paine
Cummins
Pattinson
Lyon
Hazelwood

No we don't unless we make the World Test Championship final (England have to beat India in their forth test for that to happen) or the South Africa series is rescheduled.

We are scheduled to play 1 test against Afghanistan immediately before the Ashes so in effect it’s a 6 test home summer
