As long as the bowler wears a skirt with it.

Going way too far IMO

Would make catching a skied ball a pain.

Not necessary in my opinion, maybe for umpires as they are stationary making it harder to get out of the way.

I can understand why some bowlers would want to but im old fashioned and they look ridiculous.

Tricky one imo as batsmen are only going to hit the ball harder and harder as time goes on so the risks are only going to get greater.
