I just hope our quicks stay injury free or at least keep it to a minimum from now. If they stay this way we will become a very good Test team in the next 2 years as we inject younger bats who will get better over time and Alex Carey.

Why was Downhill Dave going all Virat after the run out?

Because there is no bigger f**k wit in world cricket than Warner.

This bowling attack is unbelievably good. If they stay healthy no chance you get beaten any place other then india. Your batting will be fine with smith and warner there but the bowling does mask its limitations.

Steve Smith will have something to say about that before his career is over

Must say really disappointed in the GOAT for the ball drop on Faf, while it was only gentle was 100% deliberate and certainly not what cricket is about
Gutless, weak and bordering on turning the game physical
Could not have blamed Faf for one second if he took the helmet and gloves off and wanted to lay down the fists.
The Aussie side is quickly turning into a very unlikeable bunch of personalities. Warner is a first class wanker and always will be. I love Smith but can understand how some would dislike his petulant behaviour and the GOAT is quickly believing the nick name

I must have missed something.... but I reckon Faf def gives as much as he gets.
Mitch has tripped over himself here. Trying to upset the S.A. bats and he has been schooled. Less talk more grey matter fella...

Warner throws the ball to Lyon at the bowlers end stumps
Lyon takes the bails off and starts to run towards short fine leg to celebrate with Warner
As Lyon runs past Faf who is lying on the ground from his dive Lyon looks at him and deliberately drops (im not saying he threw it anything) the ball straight on top off Faf and then runs off to celebrate with Warner and co
Not saying he should be suspended or anything like that but it was just a real dickhead thing to do, if it happened at amateur level especially against some teams I've played it against it would lead to a brawl

It was AB that was run out, not Faf.

The South Africans have always struggled when the Australians have got right in their face, can't see it stopping anytime soon.

Just saw it... AB not Faff... that makes a difference to me. Faff is a shite stirrer but AB is not. Dangerous provocation one might suggest. Might be worth watching this space.
Yep... with Mitchs verbals also its a tad disappointing.

Agree with you
Lyon seemed to get caught up in the moment and dropped the ball as a cheeky FU to de Villiers.

Pleeeease, for starters it was AB, secondly the ball lands on the ground next to him and then rolls onto his body. he let the ball out his hand, as in he didnt throw it with any force as he is required to do when a wicket has been taken.

There the kind of little things that really get me going
If I was the skip I wouldn't have to big an issue if next time Lyon is batting a couple of bowls thrown to the keeper get the old ooops sorry GOAT as they just wizz past him!!

@days
https://www.cricket.com.au/news/ab-de-v ... 2018-03-04It was deliberate, he was directly looking at Ab
On second look he actually drops the ball with momentum going towards AB, almost like a short arm drop (admittedly not hard or likely to hurt him)
Landed directly on AB
Was completely pointless and 100% provactive albeit very slight and discreet (which in my mind makes it even more gutless)

That video showed nothing, the one i saw the ball clearly lands on the ground next to him. Youre all as bad as the media trying to make something out of it that isnt there. Nothing to see move on. If we are going to start penalising that there will be no one left in world cricket

I didn't say he should be penalised but it was nothing more than a dickhead thing to do, our team is better than it.
Like I said if I was skip I would have no issue if a few inclose fielders wizz the ball past Lyon when his next running between the wickets, wouldn't be to dissapointed if one accidently wrapped him on the hand
