Why were berry and botha sacked after hughes tragedy

This is one thing i dont understand, why did it happen?, hardly their fault that the wheels fell off after that fateful day, any inside goss on what really happened?

i ask cos he won us t20 and 50 over silverware in successive years, two years in a row we missed out on making the shield final by a whisker, only failing by one wicket each time
