1.98 batting points this innings to go with the 1.5 bowling points, should add another 6 to that. Very nice

Ferguson would and should be ahead of Head for Test selection. Head is a bit like Maddinson from NSW - goes hard and that's it. Should be good for one dayers and T20 but unless he transforms (which he very well could as he matures) I'm not sure he's got what it takes for Test cricket (at this stage). Would like to see him get picked though, he's exciting to watch.

Agree Aerie. Real worry now Head is still get easy starts but not going on with it. Plenty of opportunities and a few seasons to prove otherwise and he should really be in a perfect spot to be picked now but only has himself to blame.
Dare I say Lehmann might almost be ahead of him, he has proved he can go on with it in a variety of circumstances (not that i think he is a genuine chance to be picked.)

Chris Rogers raised a valid point on the Test coverage that he picked up in his county stint with Yorkshire when he made a hundred against Somerset. Jake struggles against spin. But will murder the quicks.
