Cricket Australia has signed a television broadcast deal for the United States, including a one-year deal with NBC Sports to show 10 Big Bash League matches.

The deal, which is expected to be announced on Monday morning, is the last agreement before Cricket Australia turns it attention to New Zealand and the larger Asia and Australia rights.

In the US, Cricket Australia renewed all rights, including men's and women's international Test matches, one-day internationals, T20 matches and the domestic BBL Women's BBL competitions, with longtime partner Willow – a US TV channel devoted to cricket – for five years.

The sporting body also signed a deal with cable TV giant Comcast's NBC Sports Network to air seven live Big Bash matches, with replays, as well as three finals matches on delay.

NBC Sports network is part of the majority of basic cable packages in the US, making the matches available to more than 83 million homes, Cricket Australia general manager of media and communications Ben Amarfio said.
