Ump gave Mahela out purely because it looked ugly, no way was that hitting.
Well batted though, shame Luderman doesn't take a leaf out of his book

I thought it was pretty close. Saying that Umps have been dog shit all BB.

Luderman is seriously out of form yet has scratched his way to 44

Head continuing his BBL form

44 from 23

Ludeman 52 off 44

25 to win off 23 balls

Great win by the Strikers, some nice hitting at the end by old man Hodge

Havnt seen much of the Heat this year but I can see why they are bottom. Light on the batting department apart from Lynn and a popgun bowling attack with Badree the only half decent bowler they have. They are a rabble on the field and couldn't catch a cold, not aided by some terrible Captaincy.

He doesnt rate the strikers at all, makes it hard for any strikers/redbacks to make any Aussie side when one of the selectors is dead set against you

probably had some coin on it.

strikers did that easy in the end.

Ludes played well in the end - carried his bat and fed the strike to the other lads to do the hitting.

Really enjoyed tonight telecast. Here is 10 very good reasons why....

1. Strikers win
2. Strikers lock in a final
3. Good competitive game
4. Heats fielding is funny
5. No Maher or Howard on commentary. Cricketers calling cricket, there's a novelty
6. Trav's batting was sublime and brilliant to watch
7. We look to be a genuinely well balanced side capable of going a long way
8. Had a very good night on the punt
9. I even liked the look inside the Strikers dressing room. Hodge may not be the shit bloke I assumed he was.
10. Got a $500 quote to fix my washing machine and successfully fixed it by the end of e game, even found $1.25 in the pump...Winning!!! :D

reckon in the first couple of seasons they were worried that someone like Gilchrist couldn't carry a broadcast, but they do it well now.

This. Surely there's someone out there with better judgement and balance than Mark Waugh.

Yep our Captain about 3 weeks ago on the eve of the home opener against Melb Stars:

“I really enjoyed playing for the Stars, it’s great fun and the MCG is a great place to play cricket — but I think the Adelaide Oval has it covered.

“Yeah, I think the blue (fans) have got them covered, too. They’re a pretty crazy and fanatical fan base and there’s not a lot else to do in Adelaide, so a game of cricket is always a good thing.”
