Lyon comes on and gets a wicket first ball. Bit lucky reckon it was almost a dead ball. Bairstow gone 4/140

Did I see our wicketkeeper dive full length across first slip and take a catch WITH BOTH GLOVES? *may have been a criticism i had of Haddin's. He made 'straight forward' catches seem very difficult.

Just once this series I'd like to see the ball get lodged in Ali's beard. Is anyone else curious or is it just me?

Yeah I could go for a bit of that action. Get them 9 down and have a crack at "Beardyline"

He'd want to start taking the regulation off spinners that beat the bat sometime soon

So 3ft down leg side is fine?
He was dishing up plenty of them yesterday and the one last over was shocking.

Does it matter if he is being effective. Glenn McGrath wasn't quick, neither was Alderman. I don't see the relevance. We also have two 140 plus blokes.

Lets not go that far, the flog quota is already full.

If Nevill can improve to spin he has the job for awhile

I am aware if that, he is using the conditions nicely at the moment. But you can't be playing Test Matches in Aust bowling at 128-129km or anywhere else except England. Even Mitch Marsh is hitting the 135km.
Siddle is neither McGrath or Alderson like. But, unlike our other bowlers, he can bowl 1 side of the wicket for more then 3 balls.
