Joe root just continues to look in awesome form currently 46 off 34 and doesn't look like getting out. Morgan also started ok after a shocking World Cup. Hales opened for around about a run a ball 20.

How the hell does N.McCullum get a game absolute spud.

England made 9/408 from there 50 overs. Buttler 129 of 77 balls and Root 104 of 78. NZ bowled out for 198 in reply

Yeah McCullum is a spud only got a game because there was no Corey Anderson, a big out for NZ along with Tim Southee

A great effort by the boys, particularly Root, Buttler and Rashid. We needed to do something after the miserable 2nd test effort.
Still can't see us getting anywhere near you Aussies in the test series.
Cheers

the poms are very pleased with themselves winning the series 3-2 albeit being D/L deciding the final match, anyone would think they just won back the urn
