C'mon West Indies, if Lara keeps going at this rate, there will still be a game to watch on Tuesday. :D

Windies all out for 405, Fantastic work Lara!

It's now lunch and Edwards got smacked off his first two overs and is going for 11 an over, although No balls weren't helping him.

Australia 0/27

Langer - 14
Hayden - 10

What a fantastic test match at the Adelaide Oval. You lucky buggers actually get to watch cricket and all I got was a yellow T-Shirt, a procession and a hangover!

Congratulations to the West Indies who have improved gradually as the series has gone on. Congratulations to Brian Lara, the world's new record holder for must runs in tests, passing Pugsley's mark in 30 fewer tests. There is a certain similarity about their careers..the one outstanding player in a struggling side..although Lara never had to face Garner, Marshall, Holding, Walsh, Ambrose etc. I would rate that a tougher gig than having to face Warne and McGrath as our next change isn't of the class above.

Congratulations to Dwayne Bravo who is an exciting talent and congratulations to Hussey as well who batted superbly. A huge brickbat though to the captaincy of Shiv Chanderpaul. Hussey was only in the 30's when Australia were 8 down and his negative approach handed Australia the lead.

Cheers,

REB

Warnie's ripping through the Windies second innings.

Should be an easy win for Australia from here.

It was an honour and a privilege to be there as part of Brian Lara's history making effort in the first innings. The ovation was large and long and eclipses any other cricket moment I have experienced.
