They'll make 600+ on this track against this attack.

Ripping way to play England into some form....

Cutting and Copeland leading the attack, with Holland, Maxwell and Henriques filling in the medium / spin roles.

England to make 500+ without too much trouble....

Carberry has increased the tempo, taking to the "spinners"

0/195- Cook 96*, Carberry 94*

Not sure it's terribly helpful to England. Will they be batting on any tracks this docile or against bowlers so pedestrian in the tests? It's certainly not fun to watch and maybe some bowlers might find it tough going, but if we get a couple of bats going then I'll be happy enough.

Tea:

England 0/197

Cook 98*
Carberry 94*.

Can see your point Graham- although with an attack consisting of Broad, Swann, Anderson and Tremlett- I dont see Australia A having too many batsman make big scores.

All eyes from a developmental point of view will be on Doolan, Khawaja, Marsh and Paine.

Giving an ordinary batsman false hope for the upcoming series. Johnson and co were all over him in England in the past ODI series!

I'd love to know who the 'CO' is???

Yes Johnson at times can rattle blokes but that's once every 4 or 5 tests. He aint setting the world alight against the Redbacks today either I really cant see Cook, Trott, Petierson having trouble sleeping at night about the Currant Australian attack. Plus Root will open ahead of Carberry this is clearly just a tour match

They could go to Moses or Hastings and McKay wow they'd scare the sh!t out of anyone.......

Getting ridiculous now...

England 0/289 after 84

Cook 143*
Carberry 135*

I guess i was wrong about playing England into form.....only 2 batsman will get a bat anyway...great tactics Australia

Wasnt really much of an A side. Cutting and Copeland... really??? Then maxwell and moises.

Bollinger and Johnson would probably be guys unlikely to get a test spot and should have been part of the A side perhaps with Cutting or Copeland. Also what about Hazelwood ??? Been bowling well lately.

Jon Holland. Christ perhaps we are trying to starve them of competition.

I don't know how Holland gets a Shield game, let alone a game for Australia A.
