South Australian chances of winning the Shield

Think S.A finally have the depth to challenge for the shield this season.

Best team looks like this I reckon

Klinger
Hughes
Cooper
Ferguson
McDonald
Botha
Ludeman
Sayers
Mennie
Putland
Zampa

Also have big George to rotate through with the other quicks.

McDonald and Botha's all round abilities really adds to S.A options and if the first class pitches are more spinner friendly as has been touted then Botha and Zampa working in tandem could work well.

Any team with both Ronald and the Chucker in it are absolutely no chance.
Embarassing that a cheat who has been cautioned half a dozen times for chucking is the Captain of this state

I do recall reading that Botha would be happy to step aside for some matches if it meant Zampa getting a gig.

To be honest I would rather see Zampa given the full season to see what he can do.

Botha might be in trouble if Mcdonald can get fit I think Mcdonald is a much better batsman than Botha so it would just be a question of whether both would play in the same team.

Got to wonder if Christian moved on because of Botha also, Christian was a no 6 all-rounder but with Botha playing he fell out of favour!

Christian moved on because he clashed with the coach and high performance manager.....

SA's Best Side would look something like this

Klinger
Hughes
Cooper
Ferguson
Head/Brown/Dougall/Raph/Smith/Other in form bat from GC/PL
McDonald
Botha
Ludeman
Sayers
Mennie
Putland/Zampa

Extra batter at 5 or 6 then Puts and Zampa filling the last spot depending on the deck. McDonald the 3rd/4th seamer
