IS it really Warner though? Unverified account being accessed at apparently 4am India time....

If it is, watch CA come in and strip the players of the right to post to personal Social Media accounts without an approval process....

If it is, just remember some people think Warner should be next captain.

Gilly's video embedded in that article is a classic!!!

Here's a tip Warner make some runs then you can have a crack and by that I mean real runs not rupee runs.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Warner is a dill no mistake but Crash Craddock was on Fox today practically admitting he's a professional troll. Congratulations you reeled in a huge fish there boys. You can cop it somewhat from Harvey and Chappell but not some bloke who has never worn the Baggy Green. Warner's rant is ill advised but perhaps a bit more accurate than many would care to acknowlege.

Bullshit reb. Nothing craddock wrote was wrong. Ipl is a farce, and you don't need to have played for Australia to see that. Hopefully this is the end for Warner. Should never have played a test for Australia anyway.

Not talking about his article TSG, but the response he gave to Warner's BS. It was a pathetic victory dance.

I'm not a fan of the IPL, as entertaining as it can be, but Craddock pretty much (at least as I read it) said that everyone bar Gilchrist was getting fat and lazy, likely also to be corrupt who played in it. I don't think Warner is like that at all. I suspect he's in fact the sort of bloke that whatever format he plays does his darndest to be his best and if he finds it abhorrent to accept a bribe then that article could and should get his back up. Let's not forget 20/20 was the format that launched his whole career so to me it's a long bow to now say it's bad for him.

Really, the main issue I have with what he said was the language. Any time you're representing an organisation, whether it's professional or voluntary, official or unofficial you have to do so with a level of decorum. Now Malcolm Conn's responses were (IMHO) worse in their meaning but not the swearing. Conn does indeed spend his life trying to poke people with a stick and brings joy only to a select few. Warner might get paid to play cricket, but he contributes something. He brings happiness to people by his success. Conn brings a few dollars into the pockets of a select few. Craddock is perhaps a little better than Conn, but not by much. And his article, while there might have elements of truth to it, isn't a fair reflection of all the Aussies over there whom he decided to tar with the same "fat, lazy and corrupt" brush.

I don't think he labelled them all "fat, lazy and corrupt".
He did say there was concern about the potential for all of those three issue and provided an anecdotal tale, nameless, of one player supposedly living life large in Bollywood. It does put them all under the microscope, as that sham of a competition should be, but it doesn't say they're all in that basket.
I suspect if this article had been written by a British journo about English players, we'd be cheering, and if it had been written by an Indian journo, we'd all be thinking "typical".
