SA Redbacks Vs WA Warriors Shield Game 7/3/2013

Postby Brodlach » Wed Mar 06, 2013 8:42 am

Big game for the Redbacks, an outright win required to keep in with a chance to make/host the shield final.....can they handle the pressure of expectations?

Doubt there will be any changes to the last team that won.

Reports that Sayers will be ok to play if he pulls up fine from training yesterday.

Team announced this morning.

Chadd will be fine. Not a muscular injury as first thought, just a cracked rib from his own elbow during his bowling action

It would be nice if Victoria don't win or get any points from their remaining games.

Forgot Ferg to comeback, reckon he will replace Cooper or Carey

Worall bowled in the first innings for Adelaide (5.1 overs) and took a wicket, made 40 with the bat then didnt bowl in the second innings so maybe in doubt? (Heater any idea?)

Franky only played day 2. East Torrens were 9 down chasing 145. Must have pulled up sore after the game or at Training as I certainly didn't hear a thing.

Looks like he will be joining a long line of Adelaide bowlers on the Deck for the last game of the season sipping Gatorade (myself included  )

Yep those 5.1 overs were only on day two but then didnt bowl later in the day when they were chasing the outright win

Big game, please win. I will be definitely taking time off if we can host the Shield. Maybe even a trip to the G if we can just make it

Who was 3 last game? Ferg has been at 4 hasn't he, my mistake.

Leave him at 4 where he has produced and currently sits 6th for Shield runs this year....

Yeah i think last year was proof Ferg at three doesn't work.

He has produced at 4 this year so lets keep him there IMO

I wonder how close Klinger is to being dropped. Barely made a run all year in the shield
