x3. Can't believe he was given such a long run in the ODIs this year.

He deserves an extended run with his record in ODD cricket.

If he came up for one game and failed, everyone would be crying saying he didnt get a fair chance

I'm all for giving someone a shot if their domestic form warrants it, and Finch's form did. But it was obvious from pretty early on that he's obviously not up to international standard. As usual, the selectors are among the last to figure that out.

I'd like to think so.

I like Finch but the bloke is so out of form and it clearly doesn't back up his selection for Australia.

Think it did considering we had how many people out injured/rested?

I thought that selectors could of picked blokes such as Shaun Marsh who was in pretty good nick instead of him at the top of the order.

And he hasn't had chances? Blokes always injured. Had spent majority of the year out of the waca sides. Had a good big bash and first game after that in the RYOBI. Selectors love child is marsh

Yes that's his downfall, can't stay on the bloody park long enough.

I just thought Marsh had been in some pretty good form in the big bash like you've mentioned there CK and since Finch was struggling they would be a straight swap. Just my opinion anyway.
