What sort of farce are we a part of when our team leaves the country in dribs and drabs and be left with about a third string team playing an "International" on home soil before the summer, well, officially ends?

Exactly, and in fact Australia scheduling two 'international' matches on the same day in different countries ... no-one gives a faark about either match by the way.
