That squad is just for the first 2 games next weekend.
Once again Adelaide is treated with contempt with Warner being rested.
Looks like Mike Hussey has played his last ODI with the selectors picking a side with their eye on the 2015 WC.
On one hand they dont think Huss will be around by then but they select Haddin in the side :?

"Taking a long term view towards the World Cup the panel has decided not to include Michael Hussey in the squad for the Commonwealth Bank Series," Inverarity said.

Would rather have seen Paine in for Haddin.
David Hussey out for Doolan.

Paine has scored 60 more than Haddin in the big bash and is looking pretty good with the bat and gloves.

Young team so Haddin gives some experience. Good balanced team IMO

Hussey retired from all forms of international cricket?

No but Inverarity made it quite clear that he wanted to get some games into Hughes, Khawaja and Maxwell.
A new squad will be picked after the first two games

he's not playing in melbourne either for the 1st game either...

this resting players is a disgrace... pick your best 11...

Its too expensive to go and watch a second XI run around

Peter Siddle is not going to play ODI cricket for Australia. He is being saved for the real stuff. He has note played an ODI since 2010.

No Warner or Siddle? The new selection policy is bullshit.
