Adelaide Strikers Seating Arrangements - Potential Issue

Does anyone else see a problem with the proposed seating arrangements for the Adelaide Strikers Home Games? All I have to say is that the SACA Members area better be 99% full to justify not allowing Strikers Members/General Public to sit in a few of the Western Grandstand seating bays.

I guarantee that the Western Grandstand will be 75% full at best and the rest of the area packed (considering that you can't even sit in the bays 605/604 due to the sightscreen!)

Won't be a problem. The novelty has worn off. Stuart Clark the boss of one of the Sydney Franchises is already complaining of poor crowds. Blamed CA for scheduling the opening game during the school term

Last year even when Sydney was pulling 15 000 - 20 000 "amazing" crowds we were pulling > 30 000 to some games - I guarantee there will definitely be a problem...

I am sure SACA are aware of this - they weren't even going to allow crossover passes to the members to the Big Bash games but changed their mind a couple days ago (probably after seeing the low crowd numbers for the opening round)

However, I don't think they will care too much if there are some empty seats in the members - they have effectively already sold these seats and their priorities seem to be to maximise their membership (particularly their dodgy Ultimate Memberships) and this situation will just create more demand for memberships and give current members more of the aura that they belong to an "exclusive" club, which I think is all part of their marketing strategy.

So they won't care if there are complaints from the general public who are crammed like sardines in the hot sun under the scoreboard, while they enviously watch the members spread out in the cool shade under the giant fans (which work surprisingly well) of the new Western Grandstand. It's all part of their plan...

It was relatively cool there when the temperature was in the mid 30s during the Test Match.
