I just heard on Today that Shane Warne would be interested in making a comeback for The Ashes next year if Michael Clarke wanted him.
What do you think?

Id like to see him play a few longer forms of the game before id consider him.
Has he bowled a spell of more than 3 overs since retirement?
He is still probably better than anything we have got though

I agree, it's at least worth considering.

I'm still hoping Phil Carman comes back so Collingwood has a proper CHF.
We all talk about Ponting hanging on too long, nek minnut, Warne wants to come back and save Australian cricket
How about we look to the future and nurture the blokes that are going to be playing for the next 10 years.
If Warne wants to make a comeback, play 2 seasons of Sheffield Shield to prove it
Sorry, but it's all about ego; I'd be scared his face would melt in the midday sun.
or mebbe Bobby Simpson can come back and save us again.............

Dont get me wrong i am one of Warnies biggest fans but over the years in all different sports we have seen to many of these combacks fail, i would much prefer warny to spend some time working with David Warner on his leggies, as we have seen there actions are very similar and i think Warner has the potential to bowl a lot more overs than he currently does,

No. Warne 2013 = Botham 1989. He should have come back in 2009.

Which is one case where you can come back. He was 41 when he led Australia in the 1977-78 Indian Series.

Awful idea.. stop living in the past!
Time to move forward, and if that means a few years of poor results so be it!
Besides I dont think our spinner is the problem, so what will Warne offer? We need quality quicks and batsmen that want to bat all day!

Would add alot excitement and I would love it BUT its an Ashes or two to late.
Lyon is our number one spinner and is the least of our problems. McGrath would be more useful

Comeback Warney. Even if he is half as good as he was, he'll be twice as good as anyone else in Oz. Make him captain as well.
