Hope the boys bring some of the white ball form across to the red cherry.

Phil Hughes out with Australia A duties and Sam Raphael will replace him on debut.

Kane Richardson and Dan Worrall will fight it out for the final bowlers spot with the loser to carry the drinks.

Are Ponting, Hilfy and Cowan playing? Game finishes Sunday but I thought they had to be at the training camp on Saturday. Tried to find the teams on the CA site to no avail

A good ODD win heading into the shield match with a bit of hope and expectation... anyone else feel like this is deja vu?

Sounds very familiar over the last few years.
Performances have been excellant in the Ryobi but struggle to convert the form into shield cricket.
Always seems to be one or two bad sessions that ruin it, we are competetive for 80-90% of games

Would be great if Ferg stopped running himself out, has looked in fantastic touch his last few digs but is not capitalising from silly errors

Was thinking it would be a usual Hobart greentop but aren't both sides playing 2 spinners or have Tassie left out Doherty or Krejza?

Here is the 12 for the Redbacks

1 Botha, Johan (Captain)
2 Christian, Daniel
3 Ferguson, Callum
4 Head, Travis
5 Klinger, Michael
6 Ludeman, Tim
7 Lyon, Nathan
8 Mennie, Joe
9 Raphael, Sam
10 Richardson, Kane
11 Sayers, Chadd
12 Worrall, Daniel

Guess either Sayers or Richardson will be 12th man
