Shame when it ends in injury, but he was more than handy, I thought.

Still remember when he burst onto the schene, charging in and bowling 150 clicks, putting the sh*t up a few batsmen. Was exciting for Australian cricket at that time. Handy career thats for sure!

310 Test wickets is a bit more than handy. Had his detractors but his record stacks up pretty well.

One of only 2 Aussies to have 300+ wickets in test and odi.

Great career, but this should have happened at least 18 months ago.

He was a bloke that I often thought wasn't that good but his one day record is amazing and you can't knock 300 pegs in Test Match Cricket. Binga did the job he was selected to do very well and has had a great career. Well done Brett Lee.
regards,
REB

His antics pissed me off and forced me to not like him. He was a good honest Aussie battler though who would've had pouring drinks down to a fine art.

He's still going to continue to play in the BBL and IPL.

His first Test, against India, was like a scene from The 12th Man come to life. He had them dancing all over the place.
A lot of people disliked him. I enjoyed watching him. I really enjoyed his contribution at the end of his career too - when he'd been written off through injury, he came back to be one of our most dependable one day bowlers.

Ditto, no matter what number they batted at.

Was great to watch indeed, much is made of his wicket celebrations, but he was a competitor and hated loosing.... I sure as hell wont remember BING for his celebrations

Somehow I think you are taking the piss out of me....
When Lee was at his best he was world class. Unfortunately his peak was shortened by a lot of injuries, and he ended being quite ordinary.
His first little bit after the McGrath era ended was his best.
I will not miss him.
