Hi cricket followers.
I found this bat in an op-shop at Streaky Bay a few years ago and oiled it up etc.
Any ideas about how old it might be? It's a long-handle Gunn and Moore Non-Jar. The label has been pressed into the bat.

I don't know hey? The only online references I can find have it mid-1940s or so.

I would be guessing pre 1960's as a minimum.
I have an old slazenger bat that is from a similar vintage at home made a great backyard bat when at the grandparents house.

I haven't considered using it as I was worried about breaking some sort of antique. Lol.

Therein lies the problem. Not sure how old it actually is but it should have 60 years covered.
