If either a T20 or ODI world cup was held tomorrow NZ would give it a cracker shake and make at least the semis imho.
Most balanced limited overs side in world cricket at present.

How good is Guptill going at the moment!!!!!
Love the look of Rob Nicol, typical NZ cricketer, big strong and hits a very long ball, GUN fielder and a handy little off spin bowler.
Batting depth is great with N.McMullen, Bracewell, Vettori, Southee down at the 7,8,9,10 spots.

So they draw with Australia on our soil in a test series, do all they can against a terrible side in an ODI series, and beat arguably the strongest cricketing nation at present in a T20 and you still dont rate this guys.
What do they have to do to prove themselves to you OL?

Let us know when NZ actually do any good at a big tournament.
They are just like the Saffers, look good leading up to big events and nowhere to be seen come finals

Saffer opener Richard Levi scored the fastest century ever. In only his second game Levi brought up the ton after 45 deliveries eclipsing the 50 ball record held by McCullum and Gayle.
Levi finished on 117no off 51 balls
He also hit 13 6's which also broke Gayle's record of 10

He was hitting the ball 90+ metres, one of them out of the park, it really was sensational to watch, the big fella was hitting them so hard and flat, only one or two 6's I reckon landed between the boundary and the fence, the rest would've been 6's almost anywhere.

He might of been hitting the ball big but the confidence you get from knowing you hit it half decent and you are getting a six is going to change your mindset.

When does the One Day series start.
Interesting to see young Latham get dropped from the squad, thought he showed abit against the Zims. Would rather him in than continunly persisting with Ryder.
