Good luck trying to get tickets...... Most Test venues in England hold less that Adelaide Oval.

I know First Class Cricketer from England last year over here for the summer and Adelaide was his first ever Test Match

Very hard to get tickets unless you want to go as part of a tour. Known a few guys who have done tours, fairly expensive but at least they got to see the action.

reckon the bowlers will be siddle, pattinson, hilfy cummo and starc along with lyon. as for the batsmen, the only certainty at this stage is clarke.
wade as no.1 keeper with nevill as the deputy, dunno about the spares as i presume they will take 17 so there is a few spots to fill

I went over in 97 and went to the tests at Lords & the Oval.

Cost about 45 quid per day.

The Lords test was a draw. McGrath took 8 for 8)

Day 1 was a wash out, Day 2 only about 20 overs played, Day 3 McGrath ran through England, and the rest of the match was spoilt by rain.

The Oval test bloody Tufnell ran through the Aussies.

All over in 3 days.

Luckily both venues refunded the tickets for the rain days & the unused days for the Oval.

Very cool experience. I organised my tickets via phone, and they posted them out to me.

Mitch Johnson will be available and is a bit of a selectors favorite.

god ******* help us if he gets back in, as the army say, "he bowls to the left, he bowls to the riiiigghhht, that mitchell johnson, his bowling is shite"
and they are right he does bowl shit 99% of the time. lets bring back smith then as well!

Was in Eng in 2008 and went to day 5 of the Eng v RSA test at Lord's. No tickets were sold. 20 quid at the gate first in best dressed, sit wherever you like.

Might be different for Ashes tests.
