Fourth Test - will Australia make it 4-0 or will India show some sort of fight?
Great chance for batters to make some runs on the typical flat Adelaide Oval.
Will Marsh and Lyon play? Is Watson fit? Surely it's Time for Haddin to be dropped for Wade? Great time to debut a keeper in a dead rubber test match as such.
My 11:
Cowan
Warner
Ponting
Watson (if fit)
Clarke
Hussey
Wade
Siddle
Harris
Hilfenhaus
Lyon
12th: Starc

Australia do not drop 'keepers mid series especially when they are winning the series. Haddin will play in Adelaide. It MAY have happened if Paine was available but given they would be dropping Haddin for the #3 choice, Nup won't happen.

India will still be batting if it's a road if they bat first, lets hope the curator puts some juice in the pitch, going to be a pretty hot week leading up so that pitch will need plenty of water

FTBs v GTBs
The Flat Track Bullys versus the Green Top Bullys
Played at King William Road
If its the norMAL road , India can salvage some pride with a drawn Test Match or a win
PITCH
In the past its been its been a road for 3 days
Then crumbles days 4 + 5
Just enough for the curators to get results late on day 5
Works a treat when we have had some great bowling attacks in the past
The current Australian attack has performed admirably on green tops
But this is a real Test for them on a road
The ACB needs a 5 day Test, and where better than Adelaide Oval
CAREERS
Theres some batsman who are in the twilight of their careers, from both teams
If they fail, selections become easier for the next series by retirements, or axings
Some , if they succeed, maybe selected again, which I would think might be detriMentAL
SHEWAG
DRAVID
LAXMAN
PONTING
HUSSEY
HADDIN
The most pressure would be on Laxman and Haddin

Dhoni has been banned for a game due to poor over rate.

Well well well
I have raised the question b4 this series started
I asked how NZ got a 2 Test Series and India 4
It was posted a couple of times that NZ needs to earn the right to be in a 4 Test Series
Perhaps now we can expect a 4 Test Series next time round vrs NZ
And to be consistent give India a 2 Test Series on their return

Deservedly so, ordinary captain who just lets his side meander between overs

I hate the annual Adelaide Test for two reasons a) it's a road and b) they only show about two hours of play on TV.

For the sake of development for the Aussie bowling attack, I would like to see a traditional adelaide pitch. One of the best things about an australian summer is having 4/5 genuinely different pitches prepared and played on and this helps all aussie bowlers develop new skills and techniques for each situation.

Saha coming in to keep makes the batting look that little bit worse.

Why oh why start a Test match on a Tuesday when the Thursday is a public holiday, many people would have Friday off and then the weekend meaning, if the Indians can stretch it out that long, big crowds for the first four days?
Shithouse programming by CA. Really poor IMO.

Will flick on from about day 4 when the action starts after which both sides would have finished hitting 450+ in their first innings.
