I hope thats the team too, but I know Chuck likes Mennie so I expect Sayers or Kelly to be carrying the drinks.

I prefer that team to the one that played NSW. I was critical of Dougall last week but with him going back to grade cricket and scoring a ton on the weekend, I am glad they gave him another chance.

have to play the younger guys more than 1 game in and out.....

Mennie was the best performed bowler throughout the pre season apparently and deserves a go. I havent seen much of him so cant comment!

Hope Dougall goes well, just not sure if he is up to it. Chance of rain tomorrow on a Hobart green top with Hilfy steaming in, geez i hope we dont get thrown in to bat

That side with copper at 4 and ferguson at 5. Ferguson is not a top 4 batter in SS cricket.
Christian has had a good start with the bat at 6. Think he deserves to stay at 6 and improve his record

If Tassie win the toss i reckon we will be batting first. Bit of drizzle around on a green top, no thanks

7. Harris (bloody good to have the Doc back)
4. Dougall (Give him another crack, just made a grade ton, so it's a class rather than form issue if he fails)
9. Klinger (c) (needs Dougall to bat well, so that he stays at three)
5. Ferguson (if he fails and Coops does well again, then it may be time to have a shuffle, but certainly deserves another shot).
2. Cooper (The gun)
1. Christian (Would rather he bat in the lower four, instead of Mennie, and concentrate on bowling- runs are a plus)
3. Crosthwaite (Leaps and bounds, now we just need to find a reasonable back up keeper if he gets injured)
11. O’Brien (certainly like this selection rather than Bailey, even when Cullen is fully fit)
12. Sayers (Lets hope he performs, or he is just an indictment on our shit grade system)
10. Mennie (Last Chance Saloon)
6. George (Hero)

After Mennie spuds up, Kelly is next

Only giving Kelly the next gig because he made the twelve. Temporary slot until Putland is fit again.

Great start

Cowan out 1/4

Over 0.3: George to Cowan, no run, OUT, straight, nips away, looks to push into the leg side and gets a nick through to Dan Christian at second slip. Big wicket for SA
Over 0.2: George to Cowan, no run, good line and length, lifts and beats the outside edge. Great comeback ball
Over 0.1: George to Cowan, FOUR, full, on his toes and neatly clipped to the rope, good start from Cowan
