Saw on Fox Sports that Nathan Hauritz was bashed at a a QLD nightclub and has undergone facial surgery.
Has been sanctioned by CA and no charges were laid which to me indicates that Hauritz instigated the attack.
Not a fan of the Ritz but that is still not good news

You can't read that into it. It may well be the case, but being out late drinking especially with a cricket season nearing is worthy of a sanction on it's own.

Unless you're a loser, why would ya go near any nightclubs which are run by criminals and druggies. If i was any person of note, the last place i'd be visiting are places where 90% of the people around you are fuelled by alcohol & drugs.

Sorry Graham but if some guy caved in my face without provacation id be pressing charges which makes me think the guy was not the instigator. Could be wrong but it smells a bit fishy

Not sure what planet you've been living on but you do need some sort of evidence. If there was no footage and no witnesses then nothing could be done. It's not impossible that he was king hit with nobody around to witness it and so nobody could identify the guy. Again, you may be correct, but you may also be incorrect.
