New skipper Michael Clarke was among four batsmen to make half-centuries in an encouraging start to Australia's cricket tour of Bangladesh on Thursday.
The Australians made 6-309 from their 50 overs against a Bangladesh Cricket Board XI, with former captain Ricky Ponting leading the way with 69 from 74 balls.
Opener Brad Haddin (67) and Clarke (56) also passed 50 before retiring to give other batsmen some time at the crease.
Mike Hussey finished unbeaten on 52 from just 50 balls as the Australians gear up for their three-match one-day series against the host nation which begins on Saturday.

Disappointingly Fox Sports aren't showing the 1st ODI on Saturday and are just giving us a 3 hour highlights package on Sunday morning at 5:30am.

Live on Fox Sports 2 and 2HD
As The Joker said, you gotta press Red
3/93 after 15
Ponting run out from a misfield on the boundary
Watson out LBW to a questionable one
I take it the Review system isn't in play for this serie

No probs, I didn't know that because I don't have red button access as I've only got the sports package on but no basic package.
