I hope they raise a heap of money for this tragedy even if that is false advertising.

You would assume legends are generally former players, whereby Darren Lehmann could have got a look in...

At what sport does Chris Simpson classify as a legend?

Is he a closet mixed-croquet gun?

If that's the criteria, then give Nathan Adcock a call...

There isn't a selection process for these matches, ACA contacts past first class players to determine availability an away they go. Boof played in Pt Pirie an Moonta in early December, I imagine IPL is taking up most of his time at the moment and he can't make the trip.

As always, depends on the level you're playing. If you were picking a game with only international legends in it, Lehmann wouldn't qualify as a legend. But he's an SA and Salisbury/Northern Districts legend. Just like local footy clubs have pictures of any of their lads who played a game of SANFL as club legends.

Let's not forget that this is a charity game organised at late notice with many people involved in other games going on around the world (there is another cricket thing going in if you hadn't noticed) and promoting it as an "AUS v NZ game with some legends, a couple of decent players and a few crap ones" doesn't quite have the same ring to it.
