SA v QLD Ryobi Cup

Postby bloods08 » Sat Feb 19, 2011 8:52 am

Our final one-dayer of the season starts today at 10.45 (if the rain stays away).

Michael Klinger will miss the match with a knee injury meaning Daniel Christian will be acting captain with Dan Harris his vice captain.

I expect us to win for the only reason that it is the last game of the season and we more often than not win that last game every year.
Go you Redbacks!

4/36 from their 20 overs.

Barsby 4(23)
Hopes 0(2)
Robinson 8(13)
Reardon 8(17)
Burns 7*(31)
Hartley 4*(34)

Richardson 3/10 (6)
Haberfield 0/17 (4)
Edmondson 1/8 (6)
Lyon 0/4 (4) (Lyon also had 3 catches dropped in his first 3 overs).

Lucky for Qld they actually managed to get Haberfield away a few times otherwise they'd be lucky to have reached 25 or 30 runs... Also the current batters have nothing but singles to their name, some very good restrictive bowling by the Redbacks. Should be able to put the game completely out of reach in the next session and wrap it up quickly in the last.
