Apology thread for undeserved bagging

Postby Media Park » Mon Jan 24, 2011 8:43 pm

This may just be me, and one post before it is done... BUT...

I said at the start of the Bash, that Dan Harris shouldn't be in the side, can't score quick enough, and can't do enough in this format to play...

I was wrong, sorry Doc.

I have bagged out Nathan Lyon, saying basically that just because he's taken a couple of T20 wickets, it doesn't mean jack...

Sorry future Test spinner, I was wrong.

Good thread
We should all admit we were WRONG at times

I once asked the question if Aaron Finch was better than Rob Quiney
Finch now plays for AU
Quiney cant get a regular gig for VI
IF FINCH scores a ton for AU I would like everyone to remind me
And you know what, it would please me as I am a passionate supporter of the Australian cricket team

I also apologise for posting AU would win back the ashes this summer
Got that one wrong

Will continue to be wrong in the future as well
But thats the nature of the Media Parks, The NFCs, Smithys, West Coast Panthers, Jimo5s and myself and a few others
We are proactive in our assessments
We dont always wait for things to happen b4 saying if someone or some team is NFG

Keep up the good work Media Park

OK, while we're putting our hands up, I'll apologise to those who have backed Brett Lee in. I have been critical of his comeback on to the international scene.
I probably wont be able to bring myself to enjoy watching his ridiculous antics when he picks up a wicket despite it being a tail-ender and he has 1/45 off of 6 overs but nevertheless he has came back with intent and seems to be the pick of the quicks atm.

Watto, this thread should get to three pages at least if everyone on here follows my lead and puts there hand up.

Christian, while I didn't question his spot in the team I did query his form early this year. He came good.

Smith, this one is different. I am bagging his continual selection in the team now when he is not improving or contributing (much). I'm happy for him to come good and be part of the Aussie side and be the superstar they want him to be, however he needs to work on things for NSW, not Australia.
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

I apologise to Mike Hussey for saying he couldn't hit the ball off the square earlier in the year.

I was a watto bagger not for his skill but his ability to string games together. Though he had the skill but his body wouldnt allow him to continue.
I hope im proved wrong but from what ive seen of hastings he is absolute rubbish.
I will also put my hand up and say i bagged hauritz and will continue to do so :D

1. Sorry for giving heaps Watto

2. Rashid and Llyon. After the first Big Bash game i thought these two wouldnt play another in the bash. Now Lloyn is nearly the leading wicket taker and Rashid after the bowling last night good pick up

Yeah, I wasn't a huge fan of Wattos, mainly because he seemed to think he was a star before he had achieved anything. His batting over the last two summers has been pretty mature and good to watch.
On the flip side, I thought Hilfenhaus was going to be a star at test level, but needs to make some changes to his game pretty quickly.

I wasn't going to jump on here after the last dig.

Whilst I was impressed that he gutsed it out, I didn't think it was any better than Ferg/Dussey/Hodge could have done.

Today he has shown exactly why the NSP kept the faith in him.

Pup, I apologise for baggin you...

Now win us the bloody game son!
