Mountaineers cemented their place at the top of the Castle Logan Cup table with a crushing innings-and-96-run victory over second-placed Mid West Rhinos at the Kwekwe Sports Club. Their new-ball bowlers Tendai Chatara and Donald Tiripano ran through Rhinos' batting line-up twice on the third day, bowling them out for 61 in the first innings and then 88 in the second. It meant the match was over in two days, since the first one had been almost completely washed out.

A dominant Southern Rocks cruised to the Pro40 Championship title, beating Mid West Rhinos by eight wickets with 31 ball remaining, in Harare. Rhinos had only themselves to blame for the loss. After being put in to bat, their top order collapsed on a pitch that was slow, but wasn't doing anything extraordinary. A determined 68 by Malcolm Waller got them to 151, but that total that never posed a challenge for the strong Rocks batting.

Former Australia batsman Stuart Law has been asked to be interim coach of the Sri Lanka team for the tour of England starting next month. Law had assisted outgoing Australian head coach Trevor Bayliss since November 2009 and is expected to take over his a full-time successor.

Bayliss, who was head coach for the past four years, had stated that he would be quitting the job after the 2011 World Cup

Bangladesh coach Jamie Siddons will be looking for a new job after the nation's cricket board confirmed on Tuesday night that his contract would not be renewed. Siddons, who has coached the Bangladesh side since October 2007, appeared unlikely to win a contract extension from the moment his team failed to meet lofty home expectations during the 2011 World Cup, missing out on a quarter-final berth after heavy defeats to West Indies and South Africa.

For the past 12 months, David "Ronnie" Andrews has been Director of Cricket M.C.A at Maharastra Cricket in India.

Former VCA grade cricketer and NT Senior Representative.

His son is on a scholarship at PAC and can play.

Jamie Siddons has been confirmed as the new coach of Wellington after signing a three-year deal. Siddons, who coached Bangladesh from October 2007 until his departure in April this year, will take over the position vacated by his fellow Australian Anthony Stuart, who is now in charge at New South Wales.
