Seriously can't believe that this guy is not in the world cup squad especially ahead of Hastings.

Pretty much single-handedly got the bulls back into the game last night (with some help from Simpson) and is a much better bat than Hastings. Surprised he didn't open with both bat and ball.

How come he fell off the radar? Can't remember him having too many bad games.

I find him an in-between player, exceptional at domestic level and not quite there at international level. You are right though IMO, I'd have him in there before Hastings.

Interesting stat...

Only five or six players have scored 1000 ODI runs, and taken 50 ODI wickets since the end of the 2007 World Cup.

Two Aussies...

Watson, who is our first choice player in the team, and James Hopes, who is nowhere near the side...

Very confusing...

Well... the last ODI Hopes played was in India.

He went for 0/56 off 7 overs.
Hasting debuted and took 2/44 from 10.

Neither batted.
