So he should

BUT

fair play to Michael Clarke that takes alot of courage and shows alot of commitment to the Australian test side which is what we need to see from future cricketers who wear the baggy green. Would have been much easier for him to chase coin especially considering his nearly 30 and has back problems.

Personally i didnt think he had this is him but i rate this move from him big time. Hopefully he can go back to the shield find some form and be that future leader of the test team like his potential suggests

Great stuff Michael Clarke!

So who to take over 20/20 captaincy I wonder? Might be a good chance for the selectors to see whether or not White has what it takes at international level as a captain, albeit in the 20/20 form of the game.

yep, sorry.

I heard him speak on ABC radio and he sounded very mature about his approach for the future.
But he must also know he does not have the skills to be a successful T20 player

Agree - White to skip

White should be t20 captain, however if they are starting to rethink the test captains spot in Clarke after Ponting, Haddin is a chance

He's probably got a new girlfriend and isn't allowed to play in the IPL.

Christians having a stellar season in the Ryobi Cup and SS, he was bowling to a plan the other night, his execution was a smidgen out though, I'd have him in before Mitch though.

I've never rated Brett Lee as a good one day bowling. Maybe in Tests, but he was always too expensive.
