El Collapso!

Klinger, Ferg gone in the same McDonald over.

McDonald to Ferguson, no run, OUT, plays at one outside off that he could have left alone - edging to 2nd slip, sharp catch taken - poor effort there from Ferguson - SA in bother now at 3/71

3/71.

21st Over
Over 20.6: McDonald to Blizzard, no run, drives to mid off, great over from McDonald comes to an end
We saw a lot of this in Perth yesterday, batsmen playing at balls they don't need to early in their innings - in comes Blizzard
Over 20.5: McDonald to Ferguson, no run, OUT, plays at one outside off that he could have left alone - edging to 2nd slip, sharp catch taken - poor effort there from Ferguson - SA in bother now at 3/71
Over 20.4: McDonald to Ferguson, no run, comes forward and defends to mid off
Over 20.3: McDonald to Klinger, no run, OUT, comes forward and edges low to 2nd slip where David Hussey takes a good catch - well bowled McDonald, late swing there, SA 2/71
Over 20.2: McDonald to Klinger, no run, comes well forward in defence
Over 20.1: McDonald to Klinger, no run, drives to mid off

#-o

I know this will cop passionate response but Ferg is seriously over 'inflated' in people's reckoning. Good FC player yes - not great. His ODI stuff for the aussies has been bloody impressive, but with such a shortfall of batsman of his age group pushing through - he has been given a truckload of spotlight. 10 years ago we would have likened his stats to his current State Coach and no offence to Jeff Vaughan - but he was never going to play for Australia.

Maybe if half the Redback's team showed this type of application we wouldnt be 5/77 ?

This isn't 20/20 bigbash.

Get him in the Aussie team.

Gritty cricketer in red hot form that Australia could do with right now.
